1 VINTAGE NOS SPRING LOADED LATCH LOCK DOOR CABINET JELLY CUPBOARD #2A1123

$ 10.01

Availability: 89 in stock
  • Original/Reproduction: Vintage Original
  • Material: Steel
  • Condition: Hi folks, the BIN is for 1 of the pictured latches and 1 keeper. I could have easily cleaned these up but didn't in case you wanted the rustic look. These are new old stock but have been in storage since the early 1900's and will have dings and scratches and rust from age and storage. The bolt stop protrudes from the back some and will dig in to the wood mounting surface to prevent slipping. These are a good size for cabinets and jelly cupboards that use a flush mounted latch. Latch and keeper together measure about 4 7/8” x 1 1/8”. The latch alone measures about 3 7/8” x 1 1/8” and the keeper alone is about 1 1/8” x 1” long. The bolt throws about 5/8”. Spring loaded means is they have spring steel under the bolt to provide tension. No screws will come with these. At the time of this listing I had a few smaller ones like these also listed. My pictures are large because I not only want to tell you what you’re getting but also for you to see what you’re getting.

    Description

IF I MAKE A MISTAKE IT MAY COST YOU A LITTLE TIME
    BUT NEVER ANY
    $$$
The price of an item is important but it's not everything. As my father would say "
don't be penny wise and pound foolish!"
NOTE: Be very careful when buying antique hardware. I'm seeing more reproductions showing up at flea markets and sales
    than
ever before. Remember, if it's too good to be true....

About half of what I sell on eBay is antique hardware most of which I bought before eBay was even someone's dream. First I bought it for the Victorian home I had and then I just started buying it because I liked it.
I will COMBINE SHIPPING when possible.
    GUARANTEE
I believe in taking responsibility for my mistakes and I hope you feel the same way about your mistakes. I've been doing one form or another of this from my very first item I sold on eBay! If you receive your item and it's the wrong item, or any other mistake I may have made you have 30 days to email me for a return authorization email. Item must be returned and in the same condition as you received it. After I receive your item back I will then refund your money!
    SHIPPING POLICY!
My shipping policy is all items will ship out within 24 hours of receiving payment
    .
I ship within 24 hours Monday through Friday every time, if I don't then you might want to send flowers.
If your item is bought on a Saturday and I'm at work I will ship on Monday.
I don't ship with newspaper and a prayer; I use quality materials and care. Newspaper is only used as filler but never as the main source of protection.
    NOTE:
I don't know if this came from a smoke free home or not. The fact is almost all antiques came out of a home that someone smoked in at one time.
