1873 MALLORY& WHEELER EASTLAKE MORTISE LOCK w/KEY - MODEL #2004  FULLY RESTORED (16248)
Vintage, Circa 1870-80, key works just fine, reconditioned, mortise lock is clearly marked Mallory & Wheeler, dated 1873 and shown in their 1874 catalog (see pic).  Beautiful Eastlake design on the faceplate.
FACEPLATE:
Front plate measures 6 3/8" long, 7/8" wide, 1/8" thick.
BOX:
Box is 3 1/2" deep from the front edge of the faceplate to the back of the box and it is just shy of 4 1/2" in height. back of the front plate and it is 3 5/8" top to bottom.
SCREWS:
Screw holes are on 5 5/8" centers.
BACKSET:
Set back from the front edge of the face plate to the center of the knob post hole is 2 5/8".
DROP:
The drop, the measurement from the center of the knob post hole down to the center of the round portion at the top of the key hole is 2 5/8".
KEY:
Key is included.
REVERSIBILIY:
The lock is reversible.
STRIKEPLATE:
We do not have a strikeplate that matches this pattern, however, if you need one, let us know and perhaps we can find one that will work with the lock and add it to the cost before shipping.
Very clean, high quality, no rust, functions just fine and comes with the key.
