    Description

Early American made cast iron vertical rim lock with beveled or molded edges, manufactured circa 1850 - 1860's.
These molded edge cast iron locks were not reversible and this is a right hand only.
Lock measures 4 1/2" high x 3 1/2" deep without the keeper which is 1" additional and mounts on the jamb.
Original early brown  mineral door knobs are 2 1/4" in diameter.  Accompanied by original cast iron rosette, key escutcheon, and key.
Back set is 2  1/4" to knob center - spacing is 2 1.8".
Restored to a black finish, complete, and ready to install.
Excellent quality American lock from the mid 19th Century - working very well.
