  • Condition: Antique lockset salvaged from Northeastern PA. The set consists of 1 barrel lock and 1 thumb-turn with oval plate. Except for the rod/bolt which is made of copper-plated cast iron, all parts are solid copper. The black color you see on the parts is actually a lacquer that manufacturer's used to apply on their copper pieces. This process is called "Japanning"We greased the inside of the barrel to facilitate the rod's movement.     Antique Copper Door  Deadbolt Privacy Mortise Lock Set
    Antique lockset salvaged from Northeastern PA. The set  consists of 1 barrel lock and 1 thumb-turn with oval plate. Except for the  rod/bolt which is made of copper-plated cast iron, all parts are solid copper.
