Asylum Restraint Buckle Lock, Vintage, Brass.

Description

Have been told by local antique store that this is a vintage asylum restraint lock in the form of a buckle lock. A hex wrench fits into a hole in the buckle and locks down the “tongue” of the buckle. An odd and curious artifact of days gone by. It could be put to good use on any number of modern politicians, IMO.
