    CORBIN #1345 LH ENTRY MORTISE LOCK w/CYLINDER & KEYS: 9 1/8" FACE  (14799-10)
    Vintage: Corbin, patent date of 1893, very nice fully restored, a real beauty!  Clearly marked inside # 1345 LH, extremely well made, very heavy duty mortise lock, NOT REVERSIBLE, made for a LH door (see our chart if confused about that).
    NOTE:
    Corbin made several models of the 1345 over the years.  Some were left hand, some right hand and some were reversible.  The also made one model with a 2" backset and one with a 3" backset. This particular model is Left Hand (see chart if you are not sure what you need) and it has a 3" backset.
    FACEPLATE MEASUREMENTS:
    Heavy brass face plate, measures 9 1/8" by 9 1/4" wide &  3/16" thick brass.  Screws are on 8 1/8" centers.
    BOX MEASUREMENTS:
    Box is 4" deep from the front edge of the faceplate to the back of the box and it is 6 5/8" top to bottom.
    BACKSET:
    (the distance from the front edge of the front plate to the center of the knob post hole) on this one is 3".
    DROP:
    (the distance from the center of the cylinder hole down to the center of the knob post hole) is 4 1/2".
    The 1345 is designed for a two piece knob pivotal post, 3/8" for the inside and also 3/8" for the outside.  Comes with a vintage brass Corbin cylinder lock and two new keys.
    If you are simply replacing an existing lock that matches this you may have everything you need.  Otherwise let us know if you need a knob post, knobs, plates, etc and we can try to find them and then run a Buy It Now auction for anything else you might need.
